2023 and newer honda pilots - j35y8 engine

2023+ Honda Pilots with the J35y8 engine do not work with the VCMTUNER or VCMTUNER II at this time.  This includes through current model years (e.g. 2025)

Honda removed the 167F vcm engagement ECT1 threshold on these models and thus our product will override the ECT1 temperature, but the vehicle will still engage the vcm system from our research and customer feedback.  

We do not have an ETA or know whether the vcm system can be successfully disabled in the future on these models.  It requires a $50k investment for a vehicle and another $50k investment in carb e.o. testing plus hours and hours of R&D.  We do have lots of tools to read obd2 and canbus data on the honda ecu's which may make it possible at some point  when we developed the VCMTUNER and VCMTUNER II.   Due to our existing commitments with demand, we have no ETA or estimate of when we would even work on a solution to this now.  We have several products in development outside of this the last few years that need to be finished and finalized outside of the VCMTUNER and VCMTUNER II before we would take on this project full time.

We get lots of questions on this daily and hopefully this addresses where we stand on this right now in December 2024.
